What Personal Data We Collect
Data you voluntarily provide for the website, platform, and/or the Almanac includes, for example:

– Links to professional profiles (e.g. ORCID, Google Scholar, LinkedIn, etc.)

Under applicable data protection legislation, some categories of personal data are more sensitive than others. These are so-called 'sensitive personal data' and include data about health status, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, and political views (please note this is a non-exhaustive list). We do not collect such data and ask that you do not provide it.
We sometimes also receive data from public sources (e.g. ORCID, Google Scholar, LinkedIn) when they are related to your professional activity.
How We Use the Data

We may use your personal data to send newsletters, news, and information about our initiatives only with explicit prior consent. By subscribing, you give us the right to use your email address for these purposes.
Every email contains an unsubscribe link, after which you will not receive such messages.
We do not use legitimate interest for sending electronic marketing (email, SMS).
Visibility of Information
Some initiatives (including the Almanac) may have public or semi-public sections.
The specific level of visibility will be determined by the design of the platform.

When using Google Workspace and other services, processing outside the EU is possible; Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) apply.

You have the right to access, rectification, restriction, portability, erasure, and withdrawal of consent. You have the right to object to processing when it is carried out on the basis of legitimate interest.
