Prof. Dr. Albena Ivanova, Professor of Operations Management at Robert Morris University, Pennsylvania, and creator of the initiative 'The Living Classroom,' held a masterclass in June for young academics and PhD candidates at the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University who wish to develop their research through real experience gained from working with students.

The session covered practical approaches to turning teaching ideas into research topics, collecting and analysing data from the learning process, developing publications in the field of project-based learning and the use of artificial intelligence in education, selecting appropriate academic journals and building a publishing strategy, and creating international academic collaborations.

The class was interactive and based on real examples from international practice and Dr. Ivanova's publications, with space for participants to work on their own ideas for future articles. 

The masterclass was organised by the Alumni Club of the Faculty of Economics, with the support of The Together Forward Foundation.
