New York – Taipei: Bulgaria Is the Link

Huben Cherkelov lives and works in New York. Yavor Kostadinov lives in Taipei, where he teaches international relations and diplomacy.

One is an artist. The other — an academic.

Two Bulgarians in two different corners of the world, whose paths met today at Huben Cherkelov’s exhibition in Taipei.

And the thread began even earlier. Emilian Kavalski connected NEUMORIMITE with Yavor. We connected Yavor with Huben. And today, one connection turned into a new meeting.

Because we believe that Bulgarians around the world are not just separate points on a map. They are a community when we create connections between them.

Sometimes a friendship begins with a single meeting. Sometimes, a new idea. But what always remains is the feeling that even thousands of kilometres from Bulgaria, it continues to live within us — and to bring us together.

NEUMORIMITE is the connection.

Art is the connection.

Bulgaria is the connection.
